Fake item

I bought this watch 6 months ago. I loved it. The box was real, the watch was great quality and diamonds on the watch were beautiful. I gifted the watch to my sister. Now I ordered the same watch, OMG what happened I don’t know, even the box was made cheap and poor quality. The watch was made so poorly and it is so much lighter compared to the same watch bought before. If I didn’t buy this watch before, I wouldn’t know the difference. I returned it. I just don’t understand how is it possible? I never doubted Macy’s jewelry before! Now I am concerned!
