Warps on the bottom

I have a flattop (glass) cook top. I would not recomend this pan if you have this type of stove. During the seasoning process I slowly heated the pan to 400 ish degrees. As it heats up it warps and will not sit flat on the cooking surface. When it cools off it straightens out and sits flat again. Not sure if this is a defect or just a charactaristic of carbon steel pan. I really wish I had gas.... Other than that th fit and finish is great. Solid but not to heavy.

not sure! maybe raised in the middle?

I like the steel pan. I’m not concerned that the coating has mostly disappeared. We oil the pan with each use, before and after. I am concerned that when I v put oil in the pan or any other liquid, it all goes to the outer edges. I have an induction stove and the outer edges of the pan don’t heat as quickly. So if I drop an egg in the pan, and it goes to an outer edge edge and mostly stays raw while the middle cooks. Is the pan a little raised in the middle? Why else does everything go to the edges? (Oil, butter, eggs, etc.) I would love to exchange for another it but it is no longer returnable. It’s otherwise a great pan.

Great pan - discolored immediately

Love this pan - the size is measured at the top of the sides. Bottom is smaller than I expected, but it is lightweight and functions perfectly.

Thank you for your review. Don't worry. Carbon steel will always discolor once it is brought to temperature. The varied coloration is normal for this material. The color will continue to change over time and use. This cookware is very similar to cast iron. The more you use it, the more it will season and release will improve. You are doing the right thing. Keep cooking and enjoy this pan as it fine tunes through use.
