Cute but runs very large

I really wanted to love this sweater and saw great potential with it in basic black to dress up and down winter outfits. I ordered a medium and was so disappointed as soon as I took it out of the bag. It is huge! It fits like an XL! So sad! I had to return it! The quality is nice and I love the design but it will never fit me, even in a small.
