Yet Another Major Fail by Macys NO Quality Control

This electric adjustable Height standing desk was ordered from Macy’s and once we unpacked it, we found there were several small parts missing: screws, wrench, and wooden pin to connect the desktop. When I contacted the Company, I was told that they could not send these parts, and I would have to be sent a whole new standing desk. Or I could go to a hardware store and try to find these items myself. It is a very heavy box, and I needed people to help me get it upstairs, and to unpack it. I asked customer service if they could simply send me the parts, and their standard answer was we do not have that capability when I asked them if they would just go to the warehouse and open a box and get the parts, they refused. Now I have to re-pack the box and have FedEx pick it up In order to get a refund for this defective, useless item. They are not paying for my time or aggravation, of course. Macy’s has no quality control anymore for its vendors.
