Walk max lace ups

Roomy sneakers with great arch support. Upper fabric is very flexible and will stretch over your toes joints. The shoe’s tongue is smaller and not padded, takes a few wears to get used too. Shoe toe space is very roomy.

Not my favorite shoe

I absolutely hate these shoes and would return them if I could. However I got them on clearance from the website. All sales final. After wearing them beyond the recommended limit, the insertion of my peroneal tendon (that is the bump on the out side edge of your foot) is red, screaming and terribly inflamed. The most frustrating part- that was my shoe savings. Literally. Takes me a year to save up for each pair- I was wearing the Walk Max Slip on sneaker, but they break down right at the 8 month mark- like clockwork. Thought I would try these. Super disappointed and truly unsure I will buy more Vionic in the future >> having said that . This shoe is STURDY. I bought the Wide and it definitely is. Lots of room for my toes. But when my feet swell, the upper and arch get really tight with not much give. (It has been difficult to get one shoe off a couple times). The shoe strings are decent quality too. Small detail, but they are not a mile long and don’t stretch out like cheap mozzarella. THe construction of the shoe seems better than the Walk Max slip on. I am on my feet a minimum of 10 hours a day. My foot feels protected and held in place. This isn’t the most squishy of shoes, but my foot is definitely supported. Which is why I am so disappointed my foot hurts so much . Wrong arch support? Possibly. But it’s the only pair I have that isn’t worn out and has the support of a flip flop. Be sure to carefully read the product description and such. I’m sure others have had much better results.

Great arch support

I suffered with the leg ache in both calves. My podiatrist recommended this shoe, and it is great. The arch support alleviated my leg pain. This is my second pair.

I wanted to give these 5 STARS, but...

I am having major peroneal tendon issues and will probably need surgery in the near future. I've been searching and buying so many shoes that just didn't work. These were heaven. I was so happy! They are better than the Brooks, New Balance, Asics and HOKAs I've tried. They are very supportive. But I do have two complaints. One, the left shoe at the heel started making a popping sound and it is quite annoying. Second, they only come in two colors! Cream and white. Very disappointing. Please make these in black or gray at a minimum also.
