Lid is terrible and pops off constantly

I like the blender but the lit never stays on. I have to hold it on with all my force and it still pops off send contents flying all over my kitchen. I bought an after markert replacement pitcher for 50 bucked and that works great but it is tall. I wish the top would stay on since it was so expansive and I am stuck with it forever I make do the best I can. Sometime it makes me feel like a sucker though.

Great features!

We bought this because it pulverizes seeds. Making tomato juice, spaghetti and tomato sauce is a breeze. It cut out an arduous step and saves us so much time. I wish we could have purchased it years ago. It's worth every penny!

Do not let go.

I have been suffering 3 years with this machine. The top does not stay on if I let go it immediately flies off and liquids paint me walls and cabinets. It is terrible. The problem is the rubber like top. You can not let it go so forget about walking away.

The best ever.

I bought a used professional series unit about 3 years ago for a really good price. I have used it a number of times and I am very impressed with it. I would not have another brand as I consider this to be top shelf.

Almost perfect

I bought this blender years ago, I make soups, smoothies, humus, pesto, pasta sauce etc etc. Never had any problems with the machine, however the container is now cloudy! I wish vitamix would make a glass container
