This is the mini version. I bought this for my mom who stays over at my house anyway from a week to a month. This was perfect for a small guest room. I love that you can adjust the power as much as you want and not simply have three settings. I can also adjust the angle as well. fantastic. My husband thought it was too expensive at first but now loves this fan as well. We are using the room currently for a server so it needs cooling. Again great fan, uses very little electricity.

I wanted a quiet fan that was vertically adjustable and this is it - perfectly. I wanted air to circulate but not blow directly on people so I tilt the fan to about 120 degrees so it up toward ceiling and opposite wall, reducing the need for air conditioning. Room is about 15 x 18, faces west and south so can get pretty hot. The fan is nearly silent until it reaches about 75% power but I haven't yet needed the wind to be that strong. I've only had it about a month so do not yet know about durability.

We love the Smart series from Vornado. They are engineered with impressive power, and are appealing for the space.

My upstairs doesn't cool very well. I know this and have a very small window unit up there. But I don't turn it on because it is expensive, electric-usage wise. I can go upstairs now and turn on this whisper quiet fan and be comfortable. Just might by another one.

Great little fan. Sits perfectly on the window ledge. Works nice for the bedroom.

I needed to just circulate the air in my kitchen to be comfortable with or without the air conditioning on and this fan, being white, is less obvious with my cabinets, I love the dial to select the speed giving it more variation in speed and is perfect for my needs.

This fan has a ton of power for its size. You can easily adjust the direction of airflow. You can even point it straight up. Regarding ease of adjusting the direction, it’s perfect; not too difficult and not loose at all. The variable speed is an outstanding feature, as it allows you to precisely select the fan speed to your preference. This is my first Vornado but not my last. I’ll definitely be buying another Vornado for my next fan.

This appears to be a well-made, fan that moves a lot of air for its size. It's pricey, but possibly worth it for a room where noise doesn't matter. It was advertised as "whisper quiet". Since that's the main reason I purchased it, and that's not accurate, it may have to be a return
