The fan is so very quiet. Likewise, the remote is very easy. It's also a very nice looking fan.

Had these while in Hawaii and loved them. Moved and replaced old ones. Will no buy any other brand worth every penny and yes we recommend to all our friends.

This is a great fan! It’s easy to take the front grill off for cleaning, 4 screws. It has been almost 1 year since I bought the fan and it has ran 24/7 since. In a room 25x16 it has plenty of power. Mine stays on 33 and with the fan facing away from me but close to my bed, I feel the air circulating back to me with plenty of obstructions to stop it. It’s very powerful at top speed and in my opinion it’s probably the best fan you can own for the house. I run it on speed 33 or 38 when I measured the watt usage and I read 9 watts, which is excellent. At this speed the fan is quiet and runs smooth. It really is worth the price, and to know it’s backed for 10 years THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO SEE. It needs a brush kit made for the 3 different openings. This would be much easier for vornado to source than buying and hoping, but I did dedicate 2 brushes from my wheel cleaning kit (pencil like handle with a round brush base and the work good but the bristles are plastic and a better material is needed. It’s a 12v fan, where is the 12v hookup?? I’m using more power drawing from an inverter and would like to hook the fan directly to my 12v battery bank. Rotating base! It would be nice to see an accessory that would allow the top to rotate. CON. The fan and base are plastic. It’s an awesome fan and I’ll likely buy their garage floor fan soon, I just don’t care for plastic, but I’d buy this again for another room if needed. COMPLAINT. The remote is absolutely useless!!! even at 3 feet away. You literally have to be sitting directly in front of the face of the fan for the low grade sensor to work with the remote. The fan should have a sensor/window For the sides and rear.

I love the continuously variable speed, and like all Vornado fans it really packs a punch. Excellent at cooling.

I bought this fan on sale cause I thought it was a great price. The fan itself is great and works perfectly. The issue I am having is that I am not able to move the fan because whenever I try to move it the base keeps coming apart.

We bought this a few weeks ago, and it's just what we were looking for. The purchase and delivery were quick and easy. We had some issues with the set-up because we couldn't find a 'parts list' in the box and we weren't sure we had everything - we had a little problem with the extension of the pole/stand. We had some issues getting it out and weren't sure if there was another part that we were missing. After some 'fiddling' with it, we got it to work and we're happy with it now.

I just purchased the 6803. I was disappointed as soon as I opened the box. The picture on the outside of the box featured a gray colored fan and inside the box the fan was black. My interior is light gray and white and this sticks out like a sore thumb. Would have loved a gray fan or white fan. This fan is noisy. I probably won’t be able to sleep while this fan going.
