I have been using the product for less than a month and the bottom of the mist chamber snapped off when I removed it to dry it out for the day (to prevent mildew buildup). It was being held together with glue, so I had to reglue it. Let's see if this works or not.

Loved this unit, it worked great. Unfortunately my home has all gas appliances. The only way I could possibly use this unit was with distilled water. This unit uses a mineral cartridge instead of the wicks, that my other unit has. I noticed that while using this unit, my flames on the gas stove were orange, because of too many impurities in the air. After discontinuing it's use, the flames returned to blue.

I am returning customer of Vornado, the previous unit I had stopped working unexpectedly. So I decided to see what else Vornado had for a single room humidifier. This unit is smaller, quieter and less bright than the previous model. It’s very easy to handle and fill the tank. Also no large filters just the mineral thingy to replace.

Overall we are happy with the product but currently the way it has to be refilled is cumbersome. You have to take the whole container off the humidifier and then turn it upside down over a sink. Then you unscrew the bottom and refill it and reverse putting it back together. How about just putting a opening on top of the tank to add water? It would save a bunch of time.

We bought this humidifier about 1 month ago after doing much research. We have used a humidifier every year since our kids were infants. We have never found one the worked well and was easy to clean… until now! This humidifier is so easy to clean with no unreachable areas and so easy to use. I love not having a wick to deal with!

the most important feature is the mineral cartridge, as I live in an area that has hard water. This humdifier works as designed. I only wish the bigger unit had the mineral cartridges.

We bought this for ourselves last year. We liked it enough to buy another as a gift this year. A visiting friend remarked on how quiet it was, saying her husband was turning off her other humidifier because of noise. We bought her one for Christmas. Now it sits on her side of the bed. It's small, easy to fill, easy to see when it's low, variable mist, good value.

I am on my 2nd humidifier and it's still going out. I had the first one replaced hoping that it was just a fluke product but the 2nd one is going out too. The purpose of purchasing this is for the winter months when the house is really dry due to the heating and my nose is prone to nose bleeds. I really love Vornado products however this one was a great disappointment.
