Design tolerances could be tighter

The gears don't turn smoothly. The way the top halves are hinged, they sometimes get stuck in position. You can wiggle them out, but for the price, I would expect this to be a engineered better.

Whitley Pop

I love my Whitley Pop! It’s so easy to use and cleanup is incredibly simple. It makes perfect popcorn in under three minutes, and I love that I don’t have to deal with oil or butter. It’s become my go-to way to make popcorn. Highly recommend! No plastic.

Product works great but shipping is horrible

I got the package but it was crushed on one side. I had to rip the box apart to get it out and the handle was bent. I was able to bend it back into place and get it to work, but terrible shipping. I spent a lot to have my order being thrown around. UPS and Macy’s: do better.

Works Great

Just upgraded to an induction cooktop and needed to replace our old aluminum pan. This stainless steel version feels much more substantial and well-made.

Other occasion to buy:Product, usually. Do not purchase from Macys.

Very disappointing

I am so disappointed. I have had two Whirleypops and loved them. This one from Macys arrived damaged and customer service agreed to replace it but has not provided a mailing label so that I can return the damaged one, although it must be returned. Do not buy from Macys.

What a wonderful popcorn popper. It popped almost all kernals. it pops airy, fluffy and not hully.

Working well

I bought this for roasting coffee at home and have used it 4 times. It’s working well! My two wishes for improvement: 1. It’s designed for right-handed users. Annoying, but nothing too surprising. 2. The center down rod does tend to “pop up” which puts the whole thing out of alignment, but Whirley-Pop has a good YouTube video showing how to fix it. Seems like something you do regularly. Overall pleased.
