Heat was fine. Cooling was not what I expected. You have to put it in the freezer like regular ice packs.

Great weighted heating pad
Great heating pad! I love that it is weighted and it is sturdy. I have gone through several heating pads in the last few years because I use them so much, especially in the winter. I am hopeful that this one will outlast the others.

Good heating but must put gel pac in freezer.
Bought weighted hot & cold gel heating pad to alernate heat & cold therapy. Heat function works well & is comfortable because it has a weighted gel inside. My 2 complaints are: 1) product automatically sets for 2 hrs.; there's no way to adjust that time. 2) product marketing gives the impression you can set it to cold w. controls. To use it for cold therapy, you must 1st remove gel & put it in the freezer. Ice packs already frozen work faster. A bit deceptive and not very practical.

Weighed hot & cold heating pad with gel
It is a good purchase. Haven’t tried the cold function of heating pad, but so far the heating element works great. Does not get too hot.

No Heat
I bought this to heat my abdomen for a serious condition that I have been battling. I feel totally defeated and humiliated now by how expensive it was. It barely heats up at all. I tried to heat it on my radiator and it got burned. Please stay safe. It is not worth trying to get this thing to work.

It’s really great that I just sprained my ankle and this stupid thing isn’t working again. After an error message appeared after I bought it was able to fix it by unplugging it. It work for a couple months and here we are again. Back to not working

Husband likes it
My husband uses this heating pad for his chronic back pain, and it seems to help. He likes it, says it doesn't get too hot but just right. Helps woth pain especially after a long day at work or being outdoors. Recommend this to others. Haven't tried the cool part yet but I imagine it would be helpful for injuries like from sports etc.

I have the weighted hot and cold gel heating pad it's 12x24 inches big and it is a blessing to have. The hot and cold pad gives you the option to either have it hot with six different settings or you can switch it over to the cold Gel to reduce inflammation and swelling. You can also unplug it and use it on the go and the heat will retain for an hour or so unplugged. absolutely love this hot cold pad.
