Good quality plaid shirt/jacket but not flannel

I was expecting a soft flannel shirt/blouse. Received a shirt jacket instead. It is polyester vs. cotton. It is much heavier than a flannel shirt. I live in WA State so I know I will find some use for it. I am 5'5" and weigh 135# and ordered a size Small. Someone had made a review and stated that the sleeves were short. I would agree that they could be an inch longer. If they shrink during the laundry cycle, they may be too short.

It's a bit bulky, could use as a "shacket", not thin, think it will be great in really cold weather, or when doing outside activities, like apple, pumpkin pick on a chilly fall day.
