Beautiful and the cut is flattering but heavy

This dress looks beautiful and I absolutely love the cut but it is heavy. It is a shame because I would have kept it in a second if had been a bit lighter. I know sequin dresses are usually a bit more weight to them but I couldn't see myself dancing and standing around at my niece's wedding wearing it. I returned it. . Runs a little on the big size. I am between a 12 and 14 and the 12 fit.
