Our iconic Legacy boot has been around since the late 50 s and our users are now wearing them in more environments and for more reasons than ever before. These new demands warrant innovation and so we integrated modern technologies and a low-cut design into the classic and well proven style. The Legacy Altitude Low is an all-terrain version of our classic Legacy boot. Built on a new outsole with multi-traction lugs designed for all terrain adventures while still maintaining SRA slip resistant when you find yourself back on wet and slippery decks. The outsole lugs are specifically designed to flex and shed debris as you move.

Intentional or overlooked?

These would be my favorite ankle height Xtratuf boot yet if it weren’t for one major flaw… No pull-on finger strap(s). As mentioned in other reviews, they fit snug. I personally like this part for the added support on uneven ground. But having to grab the silicone material and pull them on is a pain. And I don’t know about other customers but I like the pull on straps for the added benefit of sorta helping keep a pant leg above the ankle if you want it to be. Fix this and you’d have the perfect rubber/traction boot IMO.

This boot is designed with a lining on the back to help ease the boot on. It also has a slightly larger opening for easy on-off. Better sizing

Make wide and 1/2 sizes. Why wouldn’t you? Your customers that buy these wear them mostly all day. I won’t buy boots for this price that either my foot moves around in excessively or they hurt to wear and break in. Great product, just not enough options for the in between like me.
