I have only had this kettle for three months and the screw holding handle down keeps loosening. Have had to screw it back 1-2 times every month. Cheaply made. Never had this happen with other brands.

Mine whistles

This kettle is great. Mine definitely whistles. It was easy to hand wash and it's much better than my old one. I wonder if others are putting it in the dishwasher and that ruins the whistling capability? Who knows, but I hand washed mine and it whistles so I am glad that I gave this one a try.
