Perfect for what I needed.

I bought this specifically for making homemade spaghetti sauce because that requires lots of cut up tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, peppers, etc. the attached tray makes transferring everything to a large saucepan very easy. Love this board for that. When I make sauce I make a huge batch and freeze it which requires lots of cutting and transferring.

Genius Idea

I have a workstation sink, but it’s kind of a pain to get all the items out to use on the sink for every weeknight cooking. Enter this two-piece cutting board. I can cut what I need to on the wood board, perfect for treatment of high end knives, and swipe the waste into the pan for disposal or saving for soups/stocks, etc. The pan is deep enough to marinate food for BBQ, if that’s what you want to use it for, but could be deeper for liquid marinades. The wood is beautiful and well-crafted.

Great board, needs to tilt.

This is a beautiful board, finely crafted, worthy of display. I used it yesterday for carving our turkey. After about 1/4 cup of juice leaked onto the counter, I placed a trivet under the end of the bard that needed to be higher to help the juices drain into the pan. Perhaps the ggroves could be made deeper toward the drain end or this is just an fyi user tip.

Ok But Tray Not Large Enough

Looks really good but I would like the tray to be larger, same size as the cutting board.

Dripping Tray So Convenient!

Love the convenience of having a dripping/catching tray for this cutting board. Prevents the overflow issues and resulting mess that older cutting boards suffer from. Cleanup is a snap and no more messy counters!
