terrible purchase
it's so hard to turn on or select any of the settings on the "touch screen" of the base. it's basically unusable- would not recommend

does not work at all
We received a defective product: the kettle does not power on at all. Two weeks later, Zwilling has still not responded.

Ready to send it back to the company!
The touch pad is a nuisance. Whether one uses a soft touch or presses, it does not always come on. Save your money and buy a cheap hot water kettle. I thought this was a quality product.
