Gift box missing

I ordered this knowing it is an excellent corkscrew. However, I am disappointed that it did not come in the “elegant gift box” that was noted in the product description.

Built to last

I bought this very corkscrew 25 years ago in Germany. It finally broke a few weeks ago, and we drink a lot of wine. I went out of my way to find the exact same corkscrew, having faith/hope that it lasts for the next quarter century of use. This one feels slightly lighter (perhaps more nickel and less steel), but still plenty sturdy. It has also tripled in price. But a quality item meant to last is not to be taken for granted. I also had a bunch of Star Money.😊

I've tried countless corkscrews of all styles. Over the decades now, this particular one is THE best. Ever. For those who prefer this winged style, as I do. It is sturdy, operates very smoothly, the worm is long enough to center/get into the cork properly & the leverage is great. I used one of them for over 25 years before it came apart. So I can't complain about reliability ! There are many identical-seeming versions made by other manufacturers but this is the ONLY one I use - as long as they continue to make in Germany. The Chinese-made "versions" are simply not as good in any respect.

Very easy to use, friends have used without difficulty. High quality, strong material.
