Good size but bad quality

I like the size variety of the set and really want to keep it because of that. However, as other ppl said, the quality is poor. My biggest concern is the black residuals. I tried to wash it with cleaner and brush. Rub it with wet bounty tower, black residual. The. I tried to wash with warm water, wipe with vinegar. Still black residual. It seems that no matter how you wash it, the black residual is coming off all the time. Going to return it.

They're bowls, . . .

These are useful, but are not high quality. Buy these for utility, not for beauty. They are on the thin side.

Metal finish came off, is this even food safe?

Before getting a chance to use these bowls, I noticed in first cleaning that the metal finish rubbed off when wiping dry with a paper towel. Didn't bother using them, didn't even donate them because I was concerned they are not safe to use with food. They went to the local recycling center instead. Don't waste your money, there are better mixing bowls out there. These went right into the trash.

Great set

These are so much better than any other set I've purchased in the past. They are not thin and flimsy. Nice for mixing ingredients, putting hot chicken as you grill and they finish, serving a salad, and whatever else! It's such a large set too big plus with all the sizes!
