First the box top is made to look like a Christmas sweater. The boards to write on are very sturdy. This was a very fun game to play with my family and my teenage son. Fun had by all.

Merry Dissmas has been such a great addition to our game collection. It was fun to be able to include our older kids to play with us. Definitely a great family friendly game. This will be played every year!

Fun!
Fun family friendly game. Our family played it and had a great time. We even had grandparents and great grandparents involved. They seemed to enjoy a different game than the normal.

Cute concept, poorly executed
When I saw this game, it reminded me of a family-friendly Holiday themed game similar to cards against humanity. I was really looking forward to playing with my teens, because who doesn't love a good holiday roasting game? The box comes with 8 dry erase boards and markers, and 250 cards. Similar to cards against humanity, each player takes turns being the judge aka "diss master", and can choose any answer they like to the question they read from the deck. Unlike cards against humanity, you aren't dealt cards to use in your answer, but rather you name a family member in response to the card read out by writing on your dry erase board. You can tell a story or elaborate, but it just fell flat to me. I expected hilarity, but instead it just felt like we were pointing out flaws and justifying why we felt that person was flawed. It wasn't very funny, and just missed the mark. Admittedly, we were a family of 4 playing with two adults and 2 teens, but we clarified we could name any extended family member. Everyone thought the game sounded fun, but after 30 minutes, we couldn't wait to put it away. The rules state the game ends when one player collects 10 cards or when someone gets tired of being roasted. Our family was done long before anyone came close to 10 cards. Perhaps this game would have been more fun with a team of 8, or with a family that has consumed a lot of adult beverages and is ready to spill all the tea. For us, it was a giant miss and we won't plan on breaking it out again. Your mileage may vary.
