Beautiful dress with jacket but…

I have been looking at this dress for a while and finally ordered it in my normal size which is 8 Petite. It was delivered quickly and I was excited to try it on. Excitement quickly changed to disappointment. The dress was much larger than a normal size 8 Petite. The armhole opening was about 6 inches down from my armpit. The whole body of the dress looked like a large sack on me. I checked the label thinking they sent the wrong size - but it was marked 8P. I have bought R&M dresses before and never had a sizing problem. Sadly, I need to return it.
