Length

Dress is cute but way too long! I’m afraid it’ll be a tripping hazard especially since I am older than dirt. I don’t know whether to have it shortened ( the cost!) or just return it.

Cooler and Confident

This dress was a last minute purchase as a back up for a recent wedding. Whilst I wore another one to the wedding ceremony, I changed into this one for the reception and boy was I glad I did. Not only is it “fun” with its riotous colors and shapes, its flowing shape and sleeveless arms made it much cooler which was a must for a non air conditioned reception in hot and humid July. I felt very comfortable as it was not too tight or sloppy loose. I would say the sizing is true and as a senior woman I felt confident in it. The only difference from the model’s photo, aside from her youth and svelte figure, is that the dress turned out to be floor length for me at 5’7”. It also washed like a dream afterwards and I hung it to dry. It’s ready for my next occasion with no ironing necessary.
