Disappointed
I purchased the ring online, based on the website photo. Unfortunately when I received it, I was sorely disappointed. The main stone is supposed to be aquamarine but looks more like a white topaz . Not even as sparkly as a diamond. I had previously purchased another aquamarine ring, the round one with diamond halo, and that one had the correct pale blue coloring one would expect from an aquamarine. I ended up taking it back to my local Macy’s and will continue searching for a ring.
Not aquamarine
This looks nothing like it does color-wise from the picture, it was just white. The whole point was to get this to match the birthstone. You'd never think aquamarine if you saw it in person. I'm returning this tomorrow. Not sure if others are getting the right color, I certainly did not.
Color is deceptive
I had been looking for an aquamarine ring for some time. This one looked really nice in the photo. It does not measure up to the photo. The aquamarine stone is so pale you can hardly see any blue at all. Although it is an attractive ring design, if you are looking for a blue stone, this is not the ring to buy.
Not blue
Very pretty ring but not blue at all. I ordered this as a something blue for a wedding but the stone is clear. I will most likely return it
