Beautiful but ...

Very beautiful set but within one month, one of the salad plates had a crack running through it and now must be thrown away as there's no telling when it will break. I'm so disappointed. LOVE this set and they were carefully washed and no dropping or damage done to them. I worry about the remainder of the pieces. I had a plain Better Homes set of dishes for 6 years that never got a crack in them but "upgraded" to these. Now I'm questioning that decision.
