Elegant coat for a rainy day or a sunny day!

I absolutely love this coat. It has a dressy air and for me at 5'4" it is knee length, so it'll look good with skirts or dresses. The simplicity of the design makes it look more classic and formal (no excessive zippers or shiny snaps like so many jackets). The first button is pretty low as you see in the photo so on the rainiest days just keep in mind you can unfold the collar to sort of close it but may you may also want a scarf tucked to protect your clothes. I have a rain jacket for casual days and I'm keeping this for the rest of the time, especially for special occasions and church, professional meetings, etc. The belted waist is flattering and for me hits at the right spot. The fabric is very nice and is NOT rubbery or noisy or shiny or flimsy, things I've noticed in other raincoats.
