Packaged poorly

Ring is very beautiful and my wife loves it but the ring was in its small ring box and just thrown inside a cardboard box with another small box that had earrings to ship so it was bouncing around inside with no other packaging! The ring ring came loose inside its small box, thankfully nothing was damaged that we can see but now we need to have the ring checked to make sure no diamonds came loose. Very disappointed at how this was shipped!! Would not recommend ordering from Macy's
