- The visual back can be used with 1.25" accessories like the star diagonal which provides for a more comfortable viewing position.
- It contains 144 mm diameter worm wheels that are constructed with spring-loaded brass worm wheel and stainless steel worm gear that reduce friction and provide optimum gear mesh for heavier loads.
- The longer 270 mm dovetail saddle accepts both the wide, Losmandy/CGE style and the narrower Vixen/CG-5 style dovetails.
- The heavy duty, 31.5 mm stainless steel larger counterweight shaft is used to accept 22 lbs. counterweights.
- The stationary latitude knob is a linkage system that greatly reduces the amount of friction when polar aligning the mount.
