I'm on page 20, and fighting hard to continue... This is more of a dive into each main characters head, to see where they are mentally after book 3. I'm about to skip to the ending and move on to book 5. But since i don't want to end the series so fast, i might just stick it out.

Not the best of the series but not bad
I can honestly say this one was my least favorite so far, but I still enjoyed it for the most part. This is your little break before you finish strong with the 5th book. I know a lot of people said nothing happens in this book but I would not agree with that. The end was emotional.

Such A Cute Book
I loved this book! No, it wasn’t as intense as the first three of the ACOTAR series, but it was the perfect reprieve after a very emotional ACOWAR. I loved getting to experience the Winter Solstice with the Inner Circle! One thing I enjoyed about ACOFAS was the multiple POVs. I absolutely loved getting to see the thoughts of other characters in this series and seeing their emotions and how they viewed others. I especially loved Nesta and Cassian’s POVs, but I would have loved to see some of Azriel and Elain🥲. But Mor’s made up for it! I liked how the conflict for the next book was introduced in this one. That aspect helped move the story along and make it exciting beyond the Solstice preparations and events. I also loved meeting new characters and getting to know other ones better, like Ressina and Varian. And I loved the bit of character development Lucien and Elain got. Lucien is definitely starting to become one of my favorite characters! Throughout the whole book, the imagery was so beautiful! I loved the descriptions of the sacred mountain and Velaris during Solstice. The Rainbow was beautiful to read about and I felt like I could visualize what these places looked like with the descriptions that were beautifully given. Overall, even though ACOFAS is not necessarily a pivotal book in the series, I think anyone reading ACOTAR should include this novella. It’s so beautifully written and I loved getting to know the characters better and see them happy and peaceful!

Filler episode :)
This was a cute “filler” episode if you will. It was nice to see the way Feyre and everyone else were navigating through what happened in A court of wings and ruin. I really hope Nesta comes around and I’m so exited to read along more and more! And she’s writing another book for after silver flames and I am just so exited 😍

BEST BOOK REVIEW: Delve Into the Next Chapter In This Epic World of Fantasy Romance... A Court Of Frost and Starlight By Sarah J. Maas... Love, magic, and the fate of a kingdom interwoven — This is the essence of Sarah J. Maas's dazzling series, A Court Of Thorns and Roses beginning with the first novel and continuing with each further installment. For fans of the author and fantasy romance books genre, this next chapter of the ongoing saga with A Court Of Frost and Starlight is thrilling not just for the narrative continuation but for the emotional galactic scale it takes its readers on. In this detailed Best Romantasy Books Review, we'll unfold the elements of Book 3.5 of the ACTOAR Series to understand the depth and breadth of Maas' storytelling... And explore what makes this volume a standout book in fantasy romance novels. Standout Features of A Court Of Frost and Starlight • Navigating The Expansive World Of Romantasy The merging currents of romance fiction and fantasy create a dynamic genre known as romantasy, where tales of love are entangled with mythical creatures, far-off lands, and the uncanny. Romantasy is more than a melting pot of two popular tropes — It's a reflection of the reader's desire for both epic adventure escapism and emotional connection in a rich, otherworldly setting. At its heart, a good romantasy genre novel lets the reader dream of a world different from their own while savoring the universality and endurance of love. • The Plot That Echoes In The Stars In A Court Of Frost and Starlight, the Night Court is preparing for the Winter Solstice, its holiday festivities shadowed by lingering trauma from the Great War. The High Fae protagonist, Feyre Archeron, struggles to find her footing amidst the peace she helped secure, and the novel paints a raw and compelling picture of the aftermath of conflict. Against this complex backdrop, Sarah J. Maas deftly weaves together the storylines of beloved characters, each grappling with their own personal battles as they aim to rekindle joy and hope in their world. With rich, evocative prose, Maas pulls the fantasy romance reader into a narrative brimming with magic and emotion. The tale is a delicate symphony of personal growth and intertwined relationships, offering a deeper exploration of each character's motivations and desires. And although A Court Of Frost and Starlight is the shortest volume to date (by as much as half) in the ACOTAR series, the world-building is no less than breath-taking... Extending the tapestry of the series further with vivid descriptions and inventive mythos. • Characters That Warm The Coldest Night The series is known for its vibrant characters, and A Court Of Frost and Starlight does not disappoint... • Feyre, the series' main character, grappling with survivor's guilt, treads the fine line between her love for her family, her interest in living the quiet life of an artist, and her newfound responsibilities in the world of the high court as a powerful high fae. • Rhysand, the enigmatic High Lord of the Night Court, supports her through this tumultuous time with unwavering devotion, demonstrating the strength of their bond amidst personal and high stakes political turmoil. Supporting characters also take their moments to shine, further developing their arcs and endearing themselves to the reader... • Nesta Archeron, Feyre's fiery sister, and the brooding Cassian share scenes fraught with unresolved tension, while Mor, Azriel, and the rest of the Inner Circle deal with their own scars and desires. The depth and growth of each main character and the supporting characters have been a focal point of praise for this fantasy romance series... And they continue to mature and evolve in ways that are genuine and engaging in Book 3.5 as well. • The Symbolism of War and Winter In A Court Of Frost and Starlight, the shadow of war casts a long presence... One that the characters must come to terms with. This thematic exploration of conflict and its aftermath provides a poignant commentary on the nature of trauma and healing. The Winter Solstice serves as a potent symbol of rebirth and renewal, a metaphor for the characters' collective attempt to reclaim joy in the face of past horrors. Maas's ability to infuse her narrative with this depth of meaning elevates the story beyond mere entertainment, offering readers a chance to reflect on their own struggles and the constancy of hope. Overall, the book (and the entire ACOTAR Series) doesn't flinch away from difficult topics... Allowing characters to confront their inner demons and find solace in one another, while highlighting the redemptive arc that underlines the novel. • The Best of Two Worlds | Romantasy At Its Peak A Court Of Frost and Starlight is a shining example of the romantasy genre — It presents a love story that is sensitive and empowering, set within a world that is both enchanting and formidable. Romantasy, at its finest, merges the grandeur of epic fantasy with the intimacy of personal relationships, and Maas has proven time and again to be a guiding light in this fusion. For those familiar with the ACOTAR series, Book 3.5 beautifully bridges the gap between earlier installments and the further full-length novels... Hopefully, with many more volumes yet to come, please! EPILOGUE A Court Of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas may be smaller than the other volumes in the ACOTAR Series... But it is no less a sparkling jewel in the romantasy crown... It continues the saga with emotional precision, splendid world-building, and thematic depth, making it a must-read for fans of the adult fantasy genre. Whether you're seeking an immersive fantasy world, a heartwarming romance, or a tale of resilience in the face of adversity, this romantasy book delivers in spades from the very beginning. Whether the sparkle of enchantment or the warmth of love draws you in, A Court Of Frost and Starlight will certainly satisfy the romantasy reader enthusiast... ✨😎✨ ♡ T.I.M.E. A Very Quick Read
My decision to read this book was over the fact that I craved more of Feyre and Rhys. Given that this was a special and rather short book, I expected to be left with questions afterwards. During the reading of the book I felt like it truly jumped around quite a bit, but I realize that some of the aspects in this book is crucial for storyline of some of the characters in the next book. I was overall satisifed with my experience and would recommend it to other ACOTAR obsessed fans!

An In-Between short story
This was a quick read. The story is told from mutilple POVs of the characters within the circle. It was a little more uplifting than the previous book. Feyre, Rhysand, and their friends are rebuilding the Night Court after the war. They are also gearing up to celebrate the Winter Solistice. Feyre, the High Lady, is concerned about the internal scars her friends bear. This book shared the friendships and love each has for the others. It gave us insight into the various perspectives of the different characters. I thought this was a great in-between book. I would highly recommend this book. I look forward to reading the next and final book, A Court of Silver Flames.

Skip it. Adds nothing to the series
Being a fan of this series, I was excited for this novella. Honestly, after reading it, it seems pointless. It hurts to write this but I am always honest with my reviews. It did nothing to enhance/ move the storylines along. IMO, you can skip this and just stick to the full length novels and you won’t miss anything.
