Buy it!!

All of the best poets spanning 500 years are in this book (in chronological order might I add) and the book itself is beautiful! I was not sure about purchasing this, but am so happy I did! Also, I am aware of the errors in the introduction (as mentioned in other comments) but I did not buy this book to read the introduction, but the poetry by my favorite writers.

Errors 2 Pages In

The book is beautiful and contains many great works. However, I’m only on the second page of the Introduction, and it already contains several errors.

Mistakes galore

I didn't even get past the intro without finding mistakes..."What Whitman" instead of "Walt".

Gorgeous Publication

The overall book is absolutely beautiful, I'm so impressed by the high quality bonded leather cover. I bought this as a gift for myself to reminisce on my days as an English major, but I am definitely considering purchasing a couple more copies to give as gifts. The selected poems in this volume span more than 500 years and are organized in rough chronological order by the birth date of each poet. Notable names include Sir Thomas Wyatt, William Shakespeare, William Blake, John Keats, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and T.S. Eliot, just to name a few from the extensive list of celebrated poets published in this collection.
