Difficult assembly! Parts not machined properly

Ordered this floor lamp and matching table lamp. Had no idea I would need to assemble. Tried to assemble on four different days with no success. The rods will not fully screw into base, therefore the part that holds the bulbs doesn't fit correctly. Cheaply made and not worth $$. I liked the pictures and the 2 reviews were inspiring. I will say they were very well packed. Coming from so far away, they probably wanted to make sure they would survive the shipment from China. These will be returned. Assembly impossible!

Floor Lamp

Very easy to assemble , beautiful sleek stainless base tubes, very modern euro look ,lites up the room has two bulbs , Bought 3 lamps for my kids and myself. Would recommend highly especially for the sale price

Light as Art

I wanted a floor lamp for a dark dining area that coordinated with my dark wood dining set and I was concerned that a floor lamp might be unsteady. This piece is remarkable! Sturdy and stable with heavy solid black marble base with brushed stainless, with a soft white linen shade. This lamp is a work of art. Fitted for two bulbs, each with a chain pull on/off, you can have as much or little illumination as you need. I am so impressed with this lamp. I cannot walk into the room without being attracted to the beautiful, clean lines. Even when it is not lit up it looks wonderful in that corner.
