'50s throwback vibe

Lovely and elegant cocktail dress. The fabric is sturdy and well made, and the color really pops. It's lined throughout, and has a little taffeta underneath the bottom of the skirt just to poof it up a bit. The cut is smaller in the bust and more full in the bottom half. If you have a larger chest, I would go up a size - but you may have to have it taken in on the lower half. The dress definitely wrinkles, so if at all possible, get dressed at your destination to avoid getting all crumpled before the event even begins.

Party Perfect

Party dress from Papell with a definite 50’s vibe. It even had a crinoline. Great looking but runs small on top.

Not for top heavy gals

Unfortunately this dress didn’t fit around my chest and I will have to return. It’s a beautiful color and I love that it has pockets. I went with my regular size so I would suggest to size up, however I think if I was to do that it would fit loose everywhere else but my chest.

Perfect With Pockets

This gorgeous green dress fit the color theme of a spring party I was catering. I dressed it up with a simple strand of pearls and pearl studs for an elegant look. However, I needed both hands to set up and serve so I just carried my iPhone, a pen, a notepad, a lighter and a wine bottle opener plus table napkin in my pockets. To my surprise, my pockets didn’t look bulky and guests were surprised by how I could “magically” pull things needed right out of my pockets.
