Size runs small

My regular size was too tight fitting. I have narrow feet, but I had to return and order one size up So that my toes don’t hurt.

Visually pleasing, Sizing is shockingly small

These are attractive, easy to slip on shoes, seem to be generally comfortable. However, other reviews that mentioned small sizing are correct. I wear size 8 in a regular shoe (medium width) and always buy tennis shoes or similar in 8.5 to allow for sock thickness, toe freedom. These shoes are extremely narrow and extremely short. My toes in the 8.5 were cramped with a thin sock. I would say length is short by 3/4 - 1 inch and width is off by 1/2 inch. Sad to have to return them.

Stuck with something I won't wear that often....

This shoe isn't that comfortable. It feels hard on the inside, with no cushion. I purchased insoles to try and make it better. Also, I've only worn them twice and the rubber on the sole looks like it's melting off, literally peeling and leaving black scuffs on my kitchen and bathroom floors. I started a return but can't because Macy's policy says your item has to be in the same exact condition you purchased it. They don't have an option for a defective product.
