Unexpected plot twists!

Curiosity is something that occurs in human nature. Tris herself is often resented by many people throughout her journey because of this. Even though her society was controlling and dominating lives, she was often aware and used her awareness in her decision-making. It was not that she was intentionally opposing the society that she was a part of…it was mostly that she was curious and attempting to satisfy her curiosity. As a teenager, living in an ever-changing world with little clues about why the changes were occurring so quickly, Tris intended to obtain as many of her own answers as possible even if it meant taking risks for her own life. Since Tris grew up in a constantly changing world, the decisions she made weren’t quiet about herself. Her fears were controlling at some moments in the book, however, she was able to overcome those fears with the help of her dedicated friends. Like Tris, her friends could be seemed as misfits, never actually seeming to fit into the perfect home they were living in. As more and more technology is created and advanced over time, it creates change in our society, similarly to Veronica Roth’s book. Tris and her friends were able to notice the problems in their world and attempted to make changes not just for themselves but for their society as a whole. In our own modern-day world with all of the technology from iPhones to Air pods, it is our normal. We are used to our technology although if you happened to be from a different time period someone would have to teach you about it. Analogous to the journey beyond the wall Tris had taken with her friends, the journey itself really was able to show the character development for not only Tris but her friends as well. Therefore, separating the traitors from her true friends. I think that this book taught many lessons about how a person should go through life with loyalty, dedication, and the freedom to choose their own journey. Tris’s example and relationships that she encounters may influence the way readers make their own future life decisions. This third book in the Divergent series was not as good as I had anticipated. The ending left me disappointed and wishing that it was written differently. Overall, however, it was a good book that I felt a need to finish, but it did not meet my final expectations for the wrap-up of the series.
