A little fussy, but works!

This is a little fussy to use (if you use it in the way intended, as in to continually attach the removable top after every wash), but I just set the removable top under the pad itself, and it worked just as well. It definitely added padding and was comfortable.

Drives me mad...

We recently switched from a standard king, to a split king adjustable bed. I have used the Platinum zip-off top mattress pad on a bed in our guest house, and LOVE it - the ease of taking off just the top to clean, and the complete encasement of the mattress is awesome! Unfortunately, this is the only mattress pad they have for a split king (which is just two twin xl mattresses...). I HATE it. My husband sleeps hot, and this just traps all the heat - he asked me to replace them (and it’s only been 2 months...) - he normally doesn’t care or say anything, even if he does, so for him to ask me to replace them is very telling... The Velcro that holds the top pad onto the mattress encasement is a joke - if you sit on the bed (even if it’s flat...) you can hear the Velcro giving way, and then it just gets all bunched up under the sheet. Forget about adjusting the bed - it’s never going to hold! I will be donating these to some poor, unsuspecting fool, and replacing them with something altogether different. Very disappointed!
