love it! soft furry collar
Such a well made coat! Instead of fleece around the collar, the have a very soft furry collar. It feels great on my skin & its a pretty Grape color too. Also, where this type of coat is usually bulky, I found this to be slimming. At 180 lbs, 5'3, I purchased size M. I probably couldn't where a bulky sweater w/o it being a little snug, but I prefer the Medium over the size Large. This is an unexpected great find!

Nice Coat
Very warm and nice. It is way to bulky for me and definitely runs big. I returned it to the store.
Watch out for Macys 3rd party purchases
The coat is ok-the hood is not what I wanted, but does have a hidden zipper to make it into a full hood. The problem is with MACYs! I went into a store to return the coat and they would not accept it! The computer couldn't "find it" - and I had the original packaging, receipt, and unused coat. MACY's customer service made me wait, they called their help hotline, and very long story short they would not take the return, and told me it was a third party issue. I would not expect that from such a large department store. They should figure out the logistics - not send me off with a 'sorry, computer issue'.

This is a great quality coat! Thick, durable shell with both snaps and a zipper to accommodate the big temperature swing we get in the Midwest.

Wonderfully Warm Coat with Lots of Features
I live in Minnesota, and I adore this coat. It is extremely warm, well-lined, and I feel very protected, even in the coldest of temperatures. And somehow, even though it is super warm, it feels less bulky than other comparable coats/parkas. I love all the pockets and features this coat comes with--especially the thumb holes in the sleeves. I usually wear an XL in tops, so I ordered up to a size 1X at first, to ensure that I could have room to wear winter clothes underneath and not have it be too tight. But it really fits true to size--I exchanged for an XL, and it's a good fit, that still allows me to wear sweaters and crewneck sweatshirts underneath.
NOT like the photo
Very disappointed because i was expecting a nice red coat like in the picture and what I got was a coat that I'm not sure you can call red the shade so dark. It's a very heavy warm coat which I wanted but just not happy with the color.
Red Color Parka Misleading
This is a nicely made parka that hits mid thigh on me (5’5”), heavy weight and not too puffy where it makes you look three sizes larger than you are. Appears to be well made with a slight fitted shape at waist - so not too boxy. My complaint is that in all the online photos it looks like a bright tomato red but in reality the color is more like a red/wine color.
