Paper Thin Placemats - Huge Disappointment

At first I thought these hadn’t been delivered even though my email notification said they had. They had arrived in a flat, plastic Amazon-like bag - not by Macys but the seller. These are so beautiful but such a huge disappointment. They are paper thin with zero padding. I have bed sheets thicker than these placemats. My napkins are thicker than these placemats. I’d never put a dinner plate with hot food on these placemats for fear of burning/scorching the wood table under them. Skip these, and probably all placemats by this seller at Macys as they are not worth the price.
