The 1957 silver certificate was the last series of silver certificates issued by the United States government to be backed by silver. Silver certificates also known as blue seals and blue seal notes are still legal tender but since 1968 they have been redeemable only in federal reserve notes.

Not Bad

This paper currency has a unique Serial Number and is in AU condition. I feel that it's a pretty good purchase. All in all OK.
