Disappointing paint job

Assembly was ok, but the paint job was terrible. It looked like it had only been whitewashed. I expected a nice paint job, and it looked like it was whitewashed. What a disappointment!

Hi Mary- Thank you for taking the time to review the Lake Avenue Bookcase. As a laminated particleboard and MDF piece, the finish depicts is a weathered, off-white woodgrain. Whitewashed is as good a description as I could offer, and although popular, it is completely understandable that you were disappointed if you were hoping for more of a brilliant white.
