Better than plastic!

I am trying to reduce my dependence on plastic. The Anchor Hocking 24 piece storage set with lids is great. I started using them almost immediately - after putting the glass through the dish washer. I wash the lids by hand to extend their life. I know the lids are plastic, but the plastic usually doesn't touch the food. I feel much better keeping my food away from plastic as much as possible. I got these on sale, so the price was right.
