I am 5 feet 2 (or 3) inches tall so these were not even close to "ankle pants" on me. This is a common problem. There were also a little big so I looked frumpy. I wish more manufacturers made petites. When they do, they often run out of my size.

As with the vest it wasn’t quite like pictured online and I just prefer the coloring more on the Bar 111 version of this outfit. It was a little large, but may have worked if I had went down a size. All depends on what you the customer prefer in a color of this style. I would recommend it as far as at least looking into it to see if it suits your taste. Hopefully Macy’s and other stores will continue with these classic styles. I’m going to say here that the clothes this spring are a very welcomed change from the styles of the last couple of spring seasons. The dresses and some tops as well were starting to look like leftovers from “The Waltons” with the dull color flower print and dull dreary overall color of many dresses and tops. I was getting very disappointed every time I went in and really not buying much clothes at all and just going with much of what I had already in my closet as it was much preferable to these 1930’s/40’s type styles-VERY FRUMPY for the most part. Happy to see more classic suiting, and more beautiful feminine dresses that have better color and styling with a bit of eighties boldness (loving the Donna Karen white pantsuit w/black buttons) and classic lines. And seeing a more preppy look has also been a welcome change. There’s more of a classic Ralph Lauren type look happening, which is more down my alley, as well as classic femininity without the depression era frumpiness. (There’s still a few dresses that I see being sold that are like that, but they seem to be on the wane). Thanks Macy’s for allowing me to have my inner style critic be expressed! lol

Not quite how pictured-not bad but not quite like I thought. The fit isn’t as good as the Bar 111 version of this outfit. I already have that and because of the overall color and the color of the pinstripes with the Ann Klein version, I didn’t try to go down a size as it was a little too large. I do like the three piece vest style that’s out this Spring and hope different versions of this continue throughout the following seasons.

Perfect fit, loved the color. Was hoping for the matching set but the pants had no give and pancaked my butt and hips in an unflattering way. Kept the vest to wear with tan slacks.

Doesnt fit the curves. I sized up and still didnt fit. Theres no stretch to these pants and i have a big butt and thighs, athletic build and these didnt work for my body. Returned. 5'4 158lbs 29 waist 42" hips, an 8 and 10 didnt fit.
