awful
No instructions, the brakes were a mess with bolts and nuts flying off, and to top it all off I take my daughter out on it for the first time and the front tires were completely flat even after pumping it up.
The brakes are tough to put together
I love my scooter, it's a lot of fun and an amazing workout.

Very sturdy
This is a sturdy and sizeable non-folding scooter which should last for years.

Read tons of reviews and articles about the best scooter to buy
Firstly I would like to say that this review is my own personal opinion. The construction and materials seem sturdy (only time will tell but it looks and feels well built). It was so easy to ¡°assemble." The height is adjustable so as he grows we can raise the handlebars (also a simple process.

I would recommend this scooter
First of all, this was pretty much exactly what I was looking for (and seem hard to find)... scooters with large tires, which roll better on rough roads and off-road. I purchased 2 of these (as seen in the photo). I liked this model versus others with different size wheels because I felt it would be easier for long term maintenance to have the wheels the same size, and I figured it would ride better.

She loved the novelty of scooting house to house.
My 11 year old LOVES being able to go anywhere and everywhere on this thing. The foot pad is wider, the wheels are much larger, and it is more stable and sturdy than a regular scooter. She goes off road on trails at my parent's house with this thing and thinks this scooter is awesome.

Fun ride, like a bike but it's not
So lots to like about this scooter once you have it assembled. Got for my kids (and me too, a little) and it's a blast. I'd say it's a bit too heavy for kids 8 or under. I'm nearly 6' and I could ride it with no problem. Nice fat small bike tires which absorb the uneven pavement or would work anywhere a small dirt bike could go.
