Steal a binder clip from the office instead.

These certainly look great in the photos. However, when you get them home their defects become obvious. First, the magnet falls off if you drop one on the counter. Second, when you go to put it on a bag, the gray piece you squeeze to open the clip falls off 50% of the time. You can still use the clip without the gray piece, but it shortens the gripping area. Third, they are flimsy. A large office binder clip would do a better job.

Poor quality

I shared half of these clips with my sons family. Within 1 week either the magnets came off or the spring popped off. These were useless.,

Have glue

For the price good. Have glue ready when they arrive. They are just put together without glue and fall apart. Pull gray ends off add glue. Check small magnet on back to see if it can be pulled off and if so add glue. When this is done, they turn into 4.5 stars. When handling after glue is applied, take your time using them.

All the Magnets Fell Out

Everyone of the magnets fell off just taking the clips off the packaging. I gave 2 stars b/c I really wanted the clips, the magnets were a bonus.

They work as advertised. Seems to be made of good quality materials.
