Be aware of lamp shade color before purchasing

This lamp would have looked and functioned beautifully in the corner of my L-shaped sofa, but unfortunately the color of the burlap-textured lampshades is a distinctly (light) brown shade, which does not go with the decor of the room (which is mostly grey and cream colors). From the picture the lit up lamp shades looked more like a typical cream-colored lampshade. I will be returning this piece, which is unfortunate because the size, functionality and look of it were otherwise perfect.
