ASICS are great shoes

I’ve bought and used ASICS running/walking shoes for over a decade and have been very pleased with the fit, comfort and distance (~1,400) miles with each pair. The GEL-CONTEND 7 Extra wide is consistent with my experience of previous pairs.

Perfect for teen boy with wide feet and arch pain.

I bought these for my 17 year old WIDE-FOOTED son. He loves them so much that he tells me weekly. "Thanks mom, I have never wanted to run so much in my life." These have solved his arch pain. I just bought a second pair and put them in my closet, just in case they go out of stock when we need more.

Much Smaller than other models

These are the same size as the last three pairs of Asics I owned, but I couldn't even get my feet into them. I guess they're extra wide, so they're extra short? I could not get my toes all the way in and cannot wear them.
