Just ok. Heels hurt in this model

Not sure what’s different with this model from other Cumulus ones but my heels hurt constantly in this pair

Too soft, too tall

These shoes were too soft and too high for me. My knee floats around and gets sore after a few miles. I miss lower cushion, lower stack shoes which are almost impossible to find these days.

Needs more support (also wide should be wider)

Shoes are supposed to be a wide, but relatively narrow toe for a wide shoe. Also support is lacking on these sneakers. Went on a pretty intense 2.5 miler. Not a long run, but a challenging pace. Definitely felt the impact on my body afterwards and the following days that one might expect from a longer run.

New cumilus not as good as older model

My 5 year old cumulus are better made. The new ones have less padding in the tongue. and more heel.

26 vs 25

Prior to this purchase I had the Gel Cumulus 25 wide so I am comparing the 26 to the 25. The fit and comfort is good and what I would expect. The 26 seems far less stabile than the 25 with much more side to side movement. Also, the 26 is wearing much faster. After about ten 5 mile runs the wear is very noticeable with the tread starting to wear flat. Not sure I will get this version again. The 25 was much better for me.

More toe box room than the standard sizes.

Got the 'wide' version as the standard was too tight in the toe box. Been using these for 10 years now, Good for 1/2 marathons, but would opt for the Nimbus (and get some gel inserts) if I wanted to do a full marathon again. Good for causal walking and some court sports. Comfortable.

Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong version. Meant to order the Nimbus. Will see how these work, but they don't have the same feel. The main issue I have with Asics in general is a poor color selection in wide.
