Not comfortable when running
I have been a fan of ASICS. I have multiple pairs of Novablast and Gel-Kayano. My Gel-Kayano 30 were so comfortable that I was excited when I purchased these new pairs. However, I have not had the same experience with these. It seems like there is a small gap between the inner sole and the wall of the shoes that constantly pinches the side of my foot. At first, I thought I just had to "break it in" and it would be better, but I have put in almost 100 miles on these shoes, and the problem is still there. I had to endure running with pain to the point that now I have a blister on the outer side of my foot. I had great experiences with ASICS because of the support and comfort that it provides. It is a shame that these new Gel-Kayano shoes do not live up to that expectation.

Love Gel-Kayano
Great sneakers but the color was not what I was expecting. Orange/Pink - too coral for me.

Uncomfortalbe shoe tounge
The shoe tongue is changed in the Gel-Kayano 32. Unfortunately, it is not cushioned; it is thin and hard, almost like a plastic one. Very uncomfortable and sharp. It cut my foot. I used Gel-Kayano in the last 10 years as my daily trainer, never having any issues with this model. Unfortunately, version 32 is not for me. I tried to return my shoe, but since I ran in it once, online return is not possible, only in-store return. In the Seattle area, there is no Asics shop, so I ended up eating the cost.

Nice shoe
Shoe very soft and bottom very comfortable. I don’t like the thin tongue of the shoe and would prefer one with padding like I am used to.

Best Gel-Kayanos so far!
ASICS Gel-Kayanos are my 'go to' training shoe. I left Nike after they started monkeying around with the Air Max in the late '90s. Looking for an equivalent stability trainer, I decided to go back to Onitsuka Tiger (ASICS). In high school I did my cross-country and track training in Tiger Corsairs. (Meets were run in spikes.) I landed on the Gel-Kayanos (GK 7s in 2001). I don't know when ASICS introduced the retro ASICS Track Club (ATC) collection, but I'm glad they did. The Gel-Kayano 32 ATCs that look like my Corsairs from high school. They arrived yesterday and I ran in them today. The decreased drop feels much better. 32s are lighter and more responsive. Shaved several seconds off my pace on the same route run 2 days ago in my 31s. Love the tongue. Uppers remind me of my Metaspeed Skys. If you're a fan of the Gel-Kayanos, you should love these!

Excellent update
Shoe has great fit and feel. There are minor changes, such as a pull tab at the heel and a more secure and lighter tongue, both good. The cushioning and support are consistent with past versions, and I had no blisters or joint pain. I am 6’, 200 lbs, 20 miles/week.

Why change the shoe so much??
Extremely disappointed in this shoe. I usually run about 50-60 miles a week and go through 3-4 pairs of ASICS Kayanos a year. I have been running exclusively in Kayanos for years and this model was a big failure in my opinion. Uncomfortable to run with and developed new blisters after every run. Wore them 4 times and gave them away. I went on an external site and bought 3 pairs of the Kayano 31s. Hoping for the Kayano 33s to be better or I will have to switch brands. They peaked with the Kayano 31s
