Not the same

I've had a pair of Gel-Excite 8 that I have loved. The new style seems roomier and I don't like the mesh top as well. Wish you would keep with the same 'ole' thing!

Not the Gel Excite I Have Always Loved

I have worn ASICS Gel Excites for years and this is the first pair that I dislike. The sole is too clunky and gets in the way when your walking, running, or working. The back actually catches on things due to the way it's made/shaped. They do provide a lot of cushion as with other Gel Excite models. Unfortunately I won't be buying these until they make a more usable model again. I usually purchase two pair at a time and wear them daily. I'm so glad I only purchased one pair to start with.
