Love the dress, beautiful well made

I am 5'3 120 lbs. I ordered the dress in a small, it mush run smaller, it's beautiful well made the length was just right, I returned it, the next day. I want to reorder in a M, afraid it will be to big. Does anyone know if the dress runs sizes too big?
