Super quiet PSU that is just right for me
This is a super quiet power supply unit (PSU) that fits my dual chamber pc case just right. My particular case can't have rectangular long power supplies due to it being like a m-ATX small in length with the power supply compartment just having enough space to be just smaller than the motherboard is. The ROG Thor 850W Platinum II fit in with room to spare for good cable management. With the 0db (Zero-Decibel) fan mode, it is a lot quieter than my previous PSU. In fact, it's so quiet that only occasionally can you hear the AIO pump and a tiny bit of coil whine. And even then, it is like less than 20db, which means that my case fans are actually making more noise than it does. Sorry to focus so heavily on the quietness, but after having a PSU that was annoyingly loud with a reverberating noise and then to go to the ROG Thor 850W Platinum II with the Zero-decibel fan mode, is so much better. Now the on-screen power reading, I love having the extra information, but in a dual chambered case, it is hard to use since you have to get up away from the keyboard and open up the side compartment to see it. Maybe in the future I'll get a normal case that has the power supply on the bottom, but with my current case, I found that I could remove the storage bins for 2.5" and 3.5" drives since I don't use them. And see what the power usage is, but granted I still have to stand up and look down into the power supply side of the dual chambered case, but it's worth it when running benchmarks. The only thing I would improve is to add a dedicated 12V-2x6 port, but it comes with a 12VHPWR cable that has 2 8-pin connectors on it. In conclusion, I like the 850W ROG Thor Platinum II. I am really pleased with my purchase due to the quietness and modular design. It works great with my i9 14900KF and my little Asus RTX 4060 Ti Dual. While still giving me room to upgrade to better cards in the future.

Satisfied
I'm more or less satisfied with my experience just a little befuddled. I sent in my unit for service due to it not powering on and the only explanation given was what I already knew(would not power on). Still though they sent me a new unit without issues so it was resolved nonetheless.

Awesome power supply, ROG for the WIN!
Very nice power supply indeed. The one thing that I most appreciated was the covering on the cables. The cables have nice nylon mesh covering them rather than the typical molded plastic. It makes for a much nicer aesthetic and they are more flexible than the molded plastic.
