Better than Expected!
I was a little cautious to purchase due to the reviews stating it looked burned or too dark. It is definitely not the color in the photo but it is close, and in my opinion, better. We love it! The quality seems great for the price.

Great piece, just wish there were more wire holes.
This is a real nice entertainment center. The wood is real and not all fake veneer wood. Wish is had more wire holes so I can put electronics in the cabinets as well. I ended up drilling my own hole and it did not fall apart, so that is a good thing.

Darker than photo but really nice
As others have stated this TV stand is much darker than the photos online I went into the store to see it first. It's a nice piece and very heavy.

Avondale Media 72" TV Stand.
The in store sales representative was very good. I did not like that the Avondale Media TV Stand was the ONLY choice on display. The only thing I like about the stand is the size. I would not recommend it for style.
Photo Is Not An Accurate Representation
Like other reviewers have noted, this is not the warm brown media console depicted in the photo. It is actually a very deep, very dark brown, almost charcoal in some spots. It has a very rustic, rough finish, almost like someone has taken a blowtorch to it in random areas. If you like that kind of look, this is the piece for you. It’s heavy and solid, and doesn’t look cheap or flimsy like some tv stands that are delivered flat boxed. I am not exactly in love with the look but this stand will get the job done and I’m hoping it grows on me.
I would buy this but am unhappy with table chairs
We purchased the dining room table and chairs and while we very much like the style and how it goes with the room, the wood grain is dramatically more rough than the floor model. We had someone come out and take a look, but the only solution they could offer was to return the merchandise. After waiting for it for months, I really didn't want to sent it back, so we're stuck with it. My shirt sticks to the chair when I sometimes sit, and the grain on the table could result in a splinter if we're not careful. But I still would like to get this piece to complete the room.
